Working with me

Hello! I’m Alexis (she/her). I’m a warm, empathic, and engaged therapist offering support for couples and individuals. Each person’s experience is distinct, and our work together will fit your specific needs.

I use an integrative method, meaning we’ll work with various styles as therapeutically appropriate. I often utilize contemporary attachment-based psychodynamic therapy as a scaffolding as it addresses your lifelong emotional experiences and relational patterns. We may also use EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) or Internal Family Systems (IFS), both of which are non-pathologizing modalities that come from a place of curiosity, self-understanding, and compassionate attunement. In addition, we may use mindfulness, breath-work, and other complimentary therapeutic methods to address your immediate concerns while fostering your current goals and future dreams. Our work together is person-centered, so while I am with you each step of the way, you are always the expert on you.
